The 200KA Surge Protector is designed to provide protection for primary power equipment from surges and spikes caused by lightning and other electrical disturbances. It is commonly installed in low voltage main distribution cabinets, particularly in outdoor power distribution cabinets that are susceptible to lightning strikes.
200KA/230 Volt Three Phase Surge Protector is also suitable for indoor power distribution equipment and can be used in various industries including civil construction, electrical, communications, road traffic, and petrochemical. Its installation helps to safeguard power equipment from potential damage and ensures the smooth operation of electrical systems.
200KA/230 Volt Three Phase Surge Protector XZ2-SPD80/100/150/200 Features
1. The current passing through the protection is large, the residual voltage is relatively low, the response time is fast, and the circuit can be protected in time;
2. Three Phase Surge Protector mainly adopts the latest arc extinguishing technology, which can completely avoid fire when a short circuit or open circuit occurs;
3. It adopts a temperature control protection circuit. When the temperature is too high, it will automatically cut off the power supply to the circuit, and there is an internal thermal protection to prevent itself from being burned;
4. With power status indicator, we can judge the working status of the 230 Volt Surge Protector according to the indicator light;
5. Rigorous structure, high safety performance, stable and reliable operation.

200KA/230 Volt Three Phase Surge Protector Overall dimensions

XZ2-SPD80、100、150、200 series surge protector is suitable for low-voltage AC power distribution 50/60Hz, 230/4oov and below IT, TT, TN-C, TN-S, TN-C-S and other power supply systems can be connected in parallel on the power line for equal potential when lightning strikes. Mainly used to protect low-voltage customer electrical installations from surges caused by atmospheric discharge (e.g. to indirect lightning) or other operating instantaneous overvoltages. As a single voltage limiting device. Products in line with GB18802.1, GB50057 and lEC/EN61643-11 standards.
The protection device shall be installed at the end of the upline (immediately connected to the downline of the pull-in wire) required to protect the customer's equipment, connecting the outer lead (L) or neutral lead (N) to the grounding device of the customer's equipment. It is installed at the junction of LPZOA zone and LPZ1 zone, with 35mm standard guide rail and 16-35mm2 copper multi-wire connection.
The SPD has a built-in disconnector. When the SPD fails due to overheating or breakdown, the disconnector can automatically disconnect it from the power grid and give an indication signal. The visual window displays green when SPD is working normally, and red when it disengages.
Each front pole of SPD surge protector must be connected in series with XZSCB series surge backup protector or fuse.
This is to ensure that in the event of a surge, the backup protector or fuse will provide additional protection and prevent damage to the customer's equipment. Additionally, the SPD surge protector should be regularly tested and maintained to ensure its effectiveness in protecting against surges.
