1. The CDL7 series RCCB/ELCB is suitable for AC 50Hz, rated voltage to 400V, rated current to 63A, and the action performance has nothing to do with the line voltage for household and similar places. It is mainly used for electric shock protection and indirect contact protection to people. When a person gets an electric shock or the grid leakage current exceeds the specified value, it indirectly protects the safety of the person and electrical equipment, and can also be used for infrequent operation and conversion of the line under normal conditions. When the CDL7 seriesRCCB/ELCB  is used in conjunction with CDB7, it can play the role of overload and short circuit protection.

2. DZL18 series RCCB/ELCB  are suitable for AC 50Hz, rated working voltage 220V, rated current 32A and below line circuits, used to protect people from indirect contact, and for buildings and similar Use the circuit for overcurrent protection. It can also provide protection against fires caused by continuous ground faults due to overcurrent protection devices not operating. RCCB/ELCB with over-voltage protection can also protect against over-voltage caused by grid faults. The product complies with GB 16916, GB 16917 and IEC 61008, IEC 61009 standards.

Summary of common knowledge of leakage circuit breaker-selection principle

2) Protection against indirect contact with electric shock

Indirect contact and electric shock in different places can cause different degrees of personal injury. Therefore, different RCCB/ELCB should be installed in different places. For places that are prone to electric shock and more harmful, it is required to use a RCCB/ELCB with a relatively high sensitivity. The risk of electric shock in a humid place is much greater than in a dry place. Generally, RCCB/ELCB with an operating current of 15-30mA and an operating time of within 0.1s should be installed. For electrical equipment in the water, actions should be installed. The current is 6-10mA, and the operation time is within US. For electrical equipment where the operator must stand on a metal object or in a metal container, as long as the voltage is higher than 24V, a leakage circuit breaker with an operating current of less than 15mA and an operating time within US should be installed. For fixed electrical equipment with a voltage of 220V or 380V, when the shell grounding resistance is below 500fZ, a single unit can install a leakage circuit breaker with an operating current of 30mA and an operating time within 0.19. For large-scale electrical equipment with a rated current above 100A or power supply circuits with multiple electrical equipment, RCCB/ELCB with an operating current of 50-100mA can be installed. When the grounding resistance of the electrical equipment is below 1000, it can be installed RCCB/ELCB with operating current of 200-500mA.

Summary of common knowledge of leakage circuit breaker-setting method

2. The RCCB/ELCB is installed at the main line of the power socket circuit with leakage protection device

(1) Advantages: This kind of setting only uses 1 leakage circuit breaker. In addition to meeting the requirements of the above specification, "except for wall-mounted air-conditioning sockets, all power socket circuits should be equipped with leakage protection devices." It's just that it is not set separately for each loop, but a total leakage protection device is set for each loop. This method achieves the purpose of low one-time investment in household distribution boxes and small box size. When the RCCB/ELCB trips, it does not affect the normal indoor lighting, which brings convenience to the troubleshooting and maintenance of the fault;

(2) Disadvantages: Because there is a section of busbar after the main switch of the household distribution box, and there is another section of busbar at the back of the RCCB/ELCB, it is easy to form a box with two sections of busbar, which increases the cost of the box. And difficulty, it also adds trouble to installation and maintenance;

(3) Applicable objects: This setting method is relatively suitable, which saves investment and meets the requirements of regulations. It is suitable for most residential distribution box systems in residential buildings.
