Electric Power Surge Protection Device Product overview

In the protection of electronic equipment circuits, Electric power surge protection device provide hierarchical protection for electronic equipment, generally divided into three levels.

At the first level, the lightning arrester directly discharges the lightning current and huge lightning energy. At this stage, it can generally reduce the voltage of tens of thousands of volts to several thousand volts. Generally, after the first level of protection, there is still lightning energy remaining.

The second level of protection is that the lightning arrester discharges the residual lightning energy.

The third level of protection is to protect electromagnetic pulse radiation and the residual lightning energy that passes through the second level lightning protector.

Under this level-by-level protection, electronic equipment can be protected to the greatest extent.

XZ2-SPDI+ll15 surge protector is suitable for lT, TT, TN-C, TN-S, TN-C-S and other power supply systems of low-voltage AC distribution 50/60Hz, 230/400V and below. It can be connected with equal potential when lightning strikes in parallel on the power line when used. Mainly used to protect low-voltage customer electrical installations from surges caused by atmospheric discharge (e.g. to indirect lightning) or other operating instantaneous overvoltages. As a single voltage limiting device. Products in line with GB18802.1, GB50057 and lEC/EN61643-11 standards.

The SPD has a built-in disconnector. When the SPD fails due to overheating or breakdown, the disconnector can automatically disconnect it from the power grid and give an indication signal.

The protection device shall be installed at the end of the upline (immediately connected to the downline of the pull-in wire) required to protect the customer's equipment, connecting the outer lead (L) or neutral lead (N) to the grounding device of the customer's equipment. It is installed at the junction of LPZOB area and LPZ1 area, with 35mm standard guide rail, and it isconnected with 16-35mm2 copper multi-stranded wire.

Each front pole of SPD surge protector must be connected in series with XZSCB series surge backup protector or fuse.

Usually installed in the line of low voltage main distribution cabinet, used for primary power equipment protection, often used in vulnerable to lightning outdoor power distribution cabinets, power distribution cabinets and indoor irfpa have to qualify the roof of the power distribution equipment, suitable for civil construction, electrical, communications, road traffic, such as the petrochemical industry of power equipment protection.
